We have barely scratched the surface on this exciting new technology and what it may have to offer. I feel like a pioneer and like I’m on my way to a healthier life. Even if I decide to quit the nicotine, I can still enjoy taking a step away with anyone who is still smoking. I can use my e-cigarette with a non-nicotine cartridge and feel like one of the crowd.

I enjoy my electronic cigarette, and I am avoiding the toxins and prices that accompany traditional smoking. I have not emptied or smelled a dirty ashtray in months. I have not wasted time and gas purchasing cigarettes. I am not worried that the store does not have my brand anymore (it was always hard to find). I am not concerned with matches that shoot off flying flames when you strike them, and I am not digging in my bag or pockets for a lighter.

If anyone asks me if they can “bum a cigarette,” I can say no with absolutely no guilt – and show them I am not really smoking. I am no longer littering hundreds of cigarette butts or looking for where to safely put my cigarette out. There is no fear of smoking around electronics and leaving a film behind. I am not worried about traveling state to state and what the price will be for me to enjoy smoking.

My friends can talk to me immediately after I’ve e-smoked and I don’t even need a breath mint. I really can put change and other things in the ashtray in my car.

In just the few years since China first introduced the electronic cigarette, the technology has improved greatly and so have the habits of many long term smokers.,/p>

In time we will also know more about how this will affect us all for long term health.
